These keys are intended for providing security to WordPress installation. So make sure to use different characters in each line and should contain letters and numbers.

4. Save wp-config.php (WordPress configuration) file to the WordPress folder.

5. Now use our tutorial to upload WordPress via FTP to the public_html folder.

6. Now we can start WordPress installation to the directory where the files are uploaded.

Open up your browser and type www.yourdomain/wp-admin/install.php and hit enter. If everything went fine, the following screen will appear.

Enter Blog title and correct email address and start WordPress installation.
It will finish up in a second, and a new window appears with admin as your user name and a randomly generated password.
Keep that password secure. You will be able to change it when logging into WordPress dashboard.

I use and have been using 000webhost for several months now. They have certain requirements regarding account activity/site activity. If these requirements aren’t met, then they will delete the account. However, they do not do it without warning. I have received emails on two occasions warning me that I need to rectify the activity requirements or they would delete my account, which I did, and everything is perfectly fine.

It’s not a scam. It’s a matter of reading — which the general population clearly has trouble with. “This software comes with viruses and adware! I installed it and now I have this stupid adware on my computer!” Yeah, guess you missed the check box saying you agree to install it.

I agree that 000Webhost isn’t a scam. Either some weirdo n00b fed you misinformation, or you (or someone you knew who used it) broke the Terms of Use.

Also, WordPress doesn’t work on 000Webhost anymore sadly…
