The romantic comedy Like For Likes. starring Yoo Ah In, Lee Mi Yeon, Choi Ji Woo, Kim Joo Hyuk, Kang Haneul and Esom celebrates the opening day on February 17 as it tops the box office on its début by occupying number 1 slot for domestic movie in all pre-sales websites.
According to Korean Film Council (KOFIC) integrated computer network, Like For Likes hit second place after the U.S box office Dead Pool in all theater sites and advance booking sites. Like For Likes occupied 16.1% audience as of February 17 at 18:00pm KST, and took the first place in the domestic box office, beating Hwang Jung Min-Kang Dong Won’s A Violent Prosecutor.

On the current Naver Movie scores, movie critics give 9.27 point and overall users score is 8.68 point. Like For Likes also bagged 4 to 4.5 Stars from the movie critics.
Like for Likes examines the evolution of modern romance, as influenced by social media tools like Facebook.
Lee Mi Yeon is Cho Kyung Ah, a television writer in her thirties who is a contemptuous spinster. She has bitter exchanges with Noh Jin Woo, a Hallyu star, played by Yoo Ah In.
The film focuses on two other couples who are at different stages in their lives, including a flight attendant who recently lost her home, portrayed by Choi Ji Woo and a middle-aged man who is dumped by his fiancé, played by Kim Joo Hyuk. Kang Ha Neul rounds out the cast with Esom.
After attending the Naver Movie Live Talk on February 3rd (we’ll post the pictures & stories soon later), the actors will hold the Stage Greeting events in Seoul, from February 20 to 21, 2016.
Like For Likes will première for U.S. audiences on February 26. following a special advanced screening hosted by DramaFever.
“In partnership with CJ E&M, DramaFever, will be hosting an advanced screening on February 25 at AMC Empire 25 in New York,” said a spokesperson for CJ Entertainment, in a February 12 press release.
Tickets for the advanced screening can be purchased through DramaFever.
Like for Likes premieres in 17 theaters throughout North America on February 26 with screenings in cities including New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Dallas.
