There will be four weekends spent canvassing of voters door-to-door, starting March 14. Volunteers will be going door to door to ask people to support the referendum. It is a great way to get a little exercise and talk to your neighbors after the long winter. We can always use more volunteers, so if you are interested please contact Tru Bazianos at pbaziaions@yahoo.com. Yard signs and buttons in support of the referendum will also be available.

Thanks to all who have staffed tables at the district’s Fun Fair and parent-teacher conferences in order to provide information about the referendum. Also, thanks to the many teachers who worked the phone bank on February 24 to contact voters about the referendum.
Show your support by attending a neighborhood coffee!
Approximately 15 coffees will be held in different neighborhoods in the district. Superintendent Joe Porto and Business Manager Beth Dever will attend the coffees and presenting information about the referendum. If you would like to host, please sign up on this website under “Volunteers”.
CONCERTS ARE BIG SUCCESS:
The band “Lemondrop,” led by guitarist and vocalist Dave Hoffheimer, who teaches creative technology at Marie Murphy, held two rock concerts at Hanson Brothers in Northbrook that raised more than $1,000 in support of the referendum. Other members of the band are Marie Murphy parent Mark Raymond, guitar, Chris Derfler, bass, and Brian Shrago, drums.
