Stonyhurst rugby wordpress hosting

An overcast morning almost put pay to our scheduled visit to Table Mountain, but as his is now regarded as one o f the modern geographical seven wonders of the world the decision was made to risk the trip despite the cloud cover which reduces visibility to nothing. We must have had luck on our side as we reached the summit, the clouds parted and we were greeting with magnificent views across the bay and city of Cape Town.

We traveled the short distance to Wynberg Boys High School which has Table Mountain as the backdrop behind the playing fields. This is an exceptionally strong school on the South African schools scene. Both games were controlled by Stonyhurst and points were scored at regular intervals. One of the main reasons to tour is to improve and the mark of both sides is that they were disappointed in some of their play, despite the positive scores. The vast majority of the tries were team tries involving multiple phases.

The rugby is now finished and the players have acquitted themselves excellently in all the rugby played. They have looked fit and well conditioned, which may be the reason for the lack of injuries despite the physical rugby played here in South Africa. The boys should take a great deal of pride Ian tour that has been so successful on the field and produced results and more importantly, performances of such high standards.
